Nadim Privacy Policy

1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Nadim mobile app (the “App”) for Android and iOS, published by Tazwat Technology (“we”, “us”). It explains what data the App stores on your device, what data leaves your device and why, and the choices you have.

• App: Nadim — A personal life agent you chat with to manage tasks, a calendar, a budget, habits, a health log, notes, a shopping list and reminders. Its AI model runs entirely on your device.
• Android package: com.tazwat.nadim
• iOS bundle ID: com.tazwat.nadim
• Languages: English, Arabic
• Pricing: Free. No in-app purchases. The app does not display ads.
• Account: No account, email address or sign-up is required. We never ask for your name or email in the app.

This page supplements the Tazwat Technology Privacy Policy. Where they differ, this page applies to the App.

2. Data Stored Only on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else:

• Your chat messages with Nadim, and the replies it writes
• Tasks, calendar events, budget limits and expenses, habits and check-ins, health entries (steps, sleep, water, workouts), notes, shopping items and reminders
• The AI model files you download, and your model settings (processor and tuning)
• App settings such as language, enabled spaces and your display name

The AI model runs on your device. Your messages, and the data Nadim reads to answer them, are processed on your phone and are never sent to Tazwat Technology or to any AI service.

Your messages, tasks, events, budget, habits, health entries, notes, shopping items and reminders are never sent to Firebase. Analytics and crash reports contain none of them.

Health entries are typed in by you. Nadim does not read Apple Health, Health Connect or any other health service.

3. Data Sent Off Your Device

The App sends only the following limited technical data off your device. None of it includes the data listed in Section 2.

4. Third-Party Services

The App includes the following third-party software development kits (SDKs):

• Hugging Face model hosting (Hugging Face, Inc.): Hosting the open AI models (Google Gemma and Alibaba Qwen) that you can download, as described above. Provider privacy information.
• LiteRT-LM and llama.cpp (Google (LiteRT-LM) and the llama.cpp open-source project): Running the AI model on your device. These libraries work offline and send no data.
• Firebase (Authentication, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Installations, Remote Config) (Google): Anonymous sign-in, usage analytics, crash reporting, notification delivery and feature settings, as described above. Our Firebase project is operated by Tazwat Technology. Provider privacy information.
• Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) (Google): Included in the app, but ads are turned off. The app does not display ads and does not use advertising identifiers for advertising. Provider privacy information.

5. Advertising, Sale and Sharing of Data

Nadim does not display ads and does not use advertising identifiers. Your data is not used for advertising or for tracking you across other companies’ apps and websites.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. The providers listed in Section 4 (such as Google) act as our service providers (data processors) and process the data described in Section 3 only on our behalf.

6. Security

Data sent from the App to our service providers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Data stored on your device is protected by your device’s own security, such as your screen lock.

Privacy features

• After the one-time model download, chat and every space work offline.
• Nadim only proposes changes. Nothing is added to your tasks, calendar, budget or other spaces until you confirm it on a card.
• You can clear the conversation at any time in Settings, and delete downloaded models in Model settings.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• Data on your device: Clear the conversation in Settings, delete items in each space, or delete models in Model settings. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in your phone’s settings, permanently erases everything the app has stored on your device.
• Data off your device: To request deletion of the anonymous ID, analytics and crash data associated with your installation, email [email protected]. Uninstalling the app stops all further collection.
• Retention: Data on your device is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app. Analytics and crash data are kept according to Google Firebase’s retention settings for our project. Tazwat Technology does not receive or store your messages.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. Because the App does not ask for your name or email, the data we hold is linked only to anonymous identifiers. To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].

9. Children

Nadim is a general-audience app. It is not specifically directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date above.
