Tazwat TV Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 20, 2026
1. About This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Tazwat TV mobile app (the “App”) for Android and iOS, published by Tazwat Technology (“we”, “us”). It explains what data the App stores on your device, what data leaves your device and why, and the choices you have.
- App: Tazwat TV — A media player for M3U / IPTV playlists on phones, tablets and Android TV. You add your own playlists (a link, a file or an Xtream login) or pick free-to-air lists published by the iptv-org community project. The app does not provide, sell or host any channels or videos.
- Android package:
com.stream.online.iptv - iOS bundle ID:
com.tazwat.tv - Languages: English, Arabic
- Pricing: Free with ads on phones and tablets. No ads on Android TV. No in-app purchases.
- Account: No account, email address or sign-up is required.
This page supplements the Tazwat Technology Privacy Policy. Where they differ, this page applies to the App.
2. Data Stored Only on Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else:
- Playlist links and files, Xtream server addresses, usernames and passwords
- The channel, movie and series list read from your playlists
- Favorites, recently watched items and playback positions
- Your parental-lock PIN and app settings (language, theme, player and debug options)
- Debug logs, kept in memory only and cleared when the app closes
Your playlists, links, logins, favorites and watch history are never sent to Tazwat Technology. We have no server that receives them.
Crash reports never include your playlists, links, logins or history.
3. Data Sent Off Your Device
The App sends only the following limited technical data off your device. None of it includes the data listed in Section 2.
The servers in your playlists (your IPTV provider)
- What is sent: Standard streaming requests: your IP address, the player’s user agent and the stream or logo you open. Xtream logins are part of the playlist link your provider gave you.
- Why: To download the playlist, channel logos and the video you choose to watch. Each provider handles these requests under its own privacy policy. Many providers use unencrypted http links, which others on your network can see.
iptv-org playlists on GitHub Pages (iptv-org.github.io)
- What is sent: A standard download request (IP address and user agent), only when you pick a free channel list.
- Why: To download the public free-to-air playlist you chose.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google)
- What is sent: Crash reports and diagnostics, such as stack traces, device model, operating system and app version, with a random installation ID.
- Why: To find and fix crashes.
Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK)
- What is sent: Your device’s advertising ID, IP address, device and operating system information, app version and ad interactions (such as views and taps).
- Why: To show banner and full-screen ads on phones and tablets, measure them and prevent fraud. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the app first asks for your consent through Google’s consent form, and ads are only personalised if you agree. You can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices, or reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. No ads are shown on Android TV.
Firebase Remote Config and Installations (Google)
- What is sent: A random installation ID.
- Why: To fetch app configuration settings.
4. Third-Party Services
The App includes the following third-party software development kits (SDKs):
- Media3 ExoPlayer (Android) / AVFoundation (iOS) (Google / Apple): Playing the video streams. These libraries send no data of their own beyond the streaming requests above.
- Firebase (Crashlytics, Remote Config, Installations) (Google): Crash reporting and app configuration, as described above. Usage analytics are switched off. Provider privacy information.
- Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and User Messaging Platform (Google): Showing ads on phones and tablets and asking for ad consent where the law requires it, as described above. Provider privacy information.
5. Advertising, Sale and Sharing of Data
Tazwat TV shows ads from Google AdMob on phones and tablets, which use your advertising ID. Ads are never based on your playlists or what you watch: the app does not share them with AdMob. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland ads are only personalised with your consent, which you can change in Settings → Ad privacy choices. Tazwat TV does not collect usage analytics.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. The providers listed in Section 4 (such as Google) act as our service providers (data processors) and process the data described in Section 3 only on our behalf.
6. Security
Data sent from the App to our service providers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Data stored on your device is protected by your device’s own security, such as your screen lock.
Privacy features
- A privacy notice is shown before first use, explaining that you are responsible for the playlists you add and that providers can see your IP address.
- Adult groups are locked by default with a PIN that only you know.
- Passwords are hidden in the in-app debug logs.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
- Data on your device: Remove a playlist in Settings to delete it with its favorites and history, use Settings → Debug → Reset app to delete everything, or uninstall the app.
- Data off your device: To request deletion of crash data associated with your installation, email [email protected]. For data held by your IPTV provider, contact that provider.
- Retention: Data on your device is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app. Crash data is kept according to Google Firebase’s retention settings for our project.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. Because the App does not ask for your name or email, the data we hold is linked only to anonymous identifiers. To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].
9. Children
Tazwat TV is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date above.
11. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or the App, contact Tazwat Technology at [email protected].
